    1. A howto would be useful

      It might be useful for the less technical people who try to use this.

      To get them started quickly you could point them in the direction of xampp.

                    Hi.
                    I am trying to install compost local in xamp server but I get a blank page with no errors on logs.

                    The same server setup hosts multiple instances of different php CMS and Blog platforms without a problem.

                    I've checked mod_rewrite and its on ( i use it for drupal )

                    I've gave read&write permissions for everyone in the whole folder ( even the neighb can delete files now :P )

                    I've tried to type compost/index.php but instead of opening the page it asks me to save it ( I don't have problem with .php files in any other… more
